We are looking to appoint a dedicated, adaptable and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school community in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner who enjoys variety in their teaching and is confident working across the full primary age range. This role requires a flexible and proactive approach, as you will be working with different classes, age groups and learning needs throughout the week.

You will need to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils, foster a calm and purposeful learning environment, and adapt teaching strategies to support all learners, including those with additional needs. As part of our committed team, you will work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff, following planning where provided while also bringing your own creativity and enthusiasm to lessons. Your contribution will be key in ensuring that all pupils continue to receive a high-quality, consistent educational experience in the absence of their regular class teacher.

Requirements:

  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
  • Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
  • Be comfortable delivering your own and pre-set lesson plans to a range of children, dependent on the requirements of the school.
  • Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
