About the role
Source Supply is delighted to be working in partnership with a range of schools across the Chesterfield area, recruiting enthusiastic and committed Primary School Teaching Assistants to provide day‑to‑day, short‑term, and long‑term cover. With immediate starts available, these flexible opportunities are ideal for both newly qualified and experienced teaching assistants looking to broaden their experience across different schools and settings. Roles are available across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2), offering variety and the chance to make a real impact in the classroom. You will be supporting the class teacher in the classroom as well as taking small groups of children delivering booster sessions in core subjects.
Requirements
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle
