Source Solutions are working with a highly reputable and forward-thinking manufacturer in Portsmouth, who operate cutting edge and complex automated machinery, designed and built in-house, in order to produce high quality components for use in harsh and critical environments, to identify a skilled Manual Machinist for their site in Portsmouth.
The Manual Machinist will be working in a clean and modern engineering environment, within an experienced team, machining, and manufacturing parts from various materials to engineering drawings, ensuring parts are made correctly to tolerance and specification.
Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate will have experience using a wide range of engineering machine tools, such as milling machines, lathes, pillar drills, surface grinders.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Possess knowledge of speeds and feeds and experience with drilling, tapping, and general tooling.
- Familiarity with inspection techniques and measuring equipment.
