Experience working with chemicals and materials/metal finishing required** **Some experience (or appreciation) of a form of electroplating preferred, but training on specific kit will be provided** Source Solutions are working with a renowned manufacturer of bespoke and standard micro components, to identify a flexible individual who is eager to learn and well-versed in fast-paced environments, to take on a unique Electroplating Technician position in their Portsmouth HQ. A Monday to Friday role, the Electroplating Technician will be trained on day shift before moving on to the lates shift (13:30 – 21:30), where they will receive a 22.5% shift premium. We appreciate that this skill is one of short supply, and so would very much welcome applications from candidates who have either carried out Electroplating Technician roles in the past, or at least have an appreciation of the process of electroplating coupled with a familiarity of materials finishing and working with chemicals in a COSHH environment (and are willing to learn).
