In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of goods and services for our company. You will make use of your analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the procurement of goods and services such as fabrics and raw components
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services through follow-up communication and expediting action
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities align with company goals and objectives
  • Analyze data and generate reports on purchasing activity
  • Other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP software
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Physical Demands:

  • Mobility necessary to perform a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materials
  • Ability to lift/move/pull 10-50lbs occasionally throughout the day
  • Ability to hear adequately on the phone or in person and group settings
  • Vision: Required to have close visual acuity, colour vision and depth perception
  • Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate standard tools and equipment
  • Must be able to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend, and move inside the facility to move product
