Overview
In this role you will shape tools used by public sector and regulated organisations, driving the end-to-end design lifecycle from discovery to handover. You will collaborate with product management and engineering to design complex workflows and contribute to evolving design system standards. Use AI-enabled tooling to move concepts to polished, developer-ready designs while delivering accessible, intuitive experiences that impact day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a strong emphasis on design systems and collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design from discovery to post-release review
- Develop deep problem understanding in partnership with PM and engineering
- Contribute to standardisation of design system standards
- Use AI tools (Claude, Figma) to rapidly prototype to developer-ready designs
- Create high-fidelity prototypes to validate ideas and inform product decisions
- Produce clear interaction specs and handover documentation for developers
- Champion accessibility and usable design across the process
Key requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience designing multifaceted products with end-to-end workflows
- Experience in B2B SaaS, government, local authorities or workflow software is ideal
- Strong proficiency in Figma with high-fidelity prototyping and design systems
- Hands-on experience with Claude and openness to other AI tools
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and document designs for developers
