We are seeking an Administrator to join our Wholesale and Metering team based in Bournemouth on a full-time permanent basis. You will receive a competitive salary and benefits. This role focuses on supporting meter reading and wholesale processes to enhance the customer experience. You will report to the Wholesale and Metering Team Leader, ensuring systems are up to date and providing feedback and resolutions to customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Obtain wholesale feedback, ensure updates to systems are completed, and provide feedback and resolution to customers.
  • Liaise with multiple Wholesale Service Desks for all administrative requirements and changes to ensure accounts are billed accurately.
  • Maximise the number of meter reads through planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Investigate accounts without meter readings and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure readings are collected.
  • Resolve issues from incorrect meter readings in a timely and effective manner; liaise with meter read contractors, the billing team and other internal stakeholders to resolve queries.

What We Are Looking For

  • Educated to GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience in a Billing or Customer Contact setting.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Clear and concise communicator.
  • Customer awareness including geographical appreciation.
