Source EV UK Limited is a Joint Venture of 50/50 between SSE and TotalEnergies for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Hubs, UK & Ireland. We are building one of the UK & Ireland’s safest, most reliable and accessible ultra‑rapid EV charging networks. Every day, our team is helping accelerate the transition to cleaner transport by delivering seamless charging experiences for drivers, fleets, and partners.

Location: The location of the role is flexible, offered as Field-Based within the UK, although the position holder will be required to work in the London Office in Canary Wharf on an occasional basis, or as may be required by the business.

Working Pattern: This role is offered on Full-Time basis of 37 hours per week, 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Whilst this role requires consistent hours due to operational demands, we are open to discussing options in accordance with our ‘Flexible First’ guidelines.

The Team: You will work closely with the Head of Legal, a solicitor with twenty years’ post‑qualification experience who trained at a top London firm. You will also collaborate with our paralegal, who is working towards qualifying as a solicitor.

What does the job entail? Roles and Responsibilities:

  • A strong academic background with a qualifying degree and legal training.
  • Significant post‑qualification experience (PQE) in real estate law, ideally from a reputable law firm or in‑house legal team.
  • Deep understanding of commercial property law, leasing and due diligence.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to frame advice in a commercial, business‑friendly way.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, building effective relationships with internal teams and external advisers.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously, prioritising effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, ownership of workstreams and proactive risk management.
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal—with an ability to present complex issues succinctly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation package: The role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract basis with a competitive salary & entitlements, with excellent healthcare, pension and wellbeing benefits, including 26 days contractual annual leave (plus bank holidays).
