As the UK accelerates toward its 2035 zero vehicle emissions mandate, the demand for robust EV charging infrastructure is surging. Source is committed to meeting this need by delivering ultra-fast, reliable, and innovative EV charging solutions for both individual drivers and fleet operators across the UK. We are looking for a Buyer to support the Procurement Team.
The Buyer will support the Procurement team in the effective sourcing, contracting and ongoing management of suppliers across both direct and indirect spend categories. Operating within a fastâgrowing EV chargepoint operator, the role will focus on vendor setâups, purchase order administration, contract and supplier management, and the delivery of compliant, valueâdriven procurement activity for lowerâvalue goods, works and services. There will also be opportunities to support and contribute to higherâvalue and more complex procurements from time to time, including involvement in commercial negotiations, with appropriate guidance and mentoring to support ongoing development.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Manage sourcing activity for lowerâvalue goods, works and services, ensuring value for money, quality and compliance
- Support and run RFQs, RFPs and miniâcompetitions in line with internal procurement policies
- Support the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions with suppliers, with guidance and oversight as required
- Provide dayâtoâday procurement and commercial guidance to the business
- Assist with higherâvalue or more complex procurement activities, as required, to support development of commercial and negotiation capability
- Engage with stakeholders early to understand requirements and support effective procurement outcomes.
- Supplier & Contract Management
- Complete supplier onboarding including vendor setâups, due diligence and system data accuracy
- Maintain and manage the contract register, ensuring contracts are accurate, compliant and up to date
- Support the drafting, review and management of contracts, including terms and conditions
- Support supplier performance management, issue resolution and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Purchase Order & Systems Administration
- Create and manage purchase orders in line with approval and governance requirements
- Ensure procurement and contract data is accurately maintained within ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics
- Support compliance with procurement policies and controls.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Produce regular procurement, spend, contract and supplier reports
- Analyse procurement data to support commercial insight and decisionâmaking
- Maintain accurate records to support audit and governance requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong, effective relationships across the business
- Act as a trusted point of contact for procurement queries
- Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at different levels of seniority.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Previous experience in a Buyer or similar procurement/purchasing role
- Experience managing purchase orders, suppliers and contracts
- Good understanding of procurement processes, controls and governance
- Experience and competent in using ERP systems and keeping procurement data accurate
Desirable:
- Experience supporting commercial negotiations
- Experience within infrastructure, utilities, construction, energy or EV sectors
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
- Working towards or holding CIPS qualifications

Working Pattern: This role is offered on Full-Time basis of 37 hours per week, 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Whilst this role requires consistent hours due to operational demands, we are open to discussing options in accordance with our âFlexible Firstâ guidelines.
Location & Business Travel: This role is offered on a Field-Based basis in the UK. The position requires occasional travel in the UK including, travel to our Canary Wharf office in London.
Compensation package: We offer a competitive salary & entitlements, with excellent healthcare, pension and wellbeing benefits, including 26 days contractual annual leave (plus bank holidays).
