As the UK accelerates toward its 2035 zero vehicle emissions mandate, the demand for robust EV charging infrastructure is surging. Source is committed to meeting this need by delivering ultra-fast, reliable, and innovative EV charging solutions for both individual drivers and fleet operators across the UK. We are expanding, and we’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and position us as a trusted leader in EV charging solutions.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in winning new business and growing long‑term customer relationships across:
- Domestic, commercial, fleet and public‑sector EV charging projects
- Fleet operators, logistics providers, and fleet management companies
- Strategic partners and industry stakeholders
You’ll own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and solution design through to negotiation and close—working closely with technical, operations, and marketing teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the UK
- Building and managing a strong, value‑driven sales pipeline
- Delivering tailored EV charging solutions based on client needs
- Developing long‑term partnerships, particularly within fleet markets
- Representing Source EV at industry events and networking forums
- Achieving and exceeding revenue, margin, and growth targets.
About You
You’re commercially sharp, relationship‑led, and thrive in a fast‑moving environment. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
- The ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into customer value
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- A proactive, self‑driven mindset with a results focus
- A full UK driving licence.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in EV charging, renewable energy, utilities, automotive, or tech
- Exposure to fleet operators or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of UK EV grants or regulatory frameworks.

Working Pattern: This role is offered on Full-Time basis of 37 hours per week, 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Whilst this role requires consistent hours due to operational demands, we are open to discussing options in accordance with our ‘Flexible First’ guidelines.
Compensation package: We offer a competitive salary & entitlements, car allowance with excellent healthcare, pension and wellbeing benefits, including 26 days contractual annual leave (plus bank holidays).
