Due to continued growth and investment in new technologies, this is an exciting time to join our client. They are expanding their Business Central capability and are looking for an experienced, driven, and client-focused D365 Business Central Principal Consultant to help shape and deliver exceptional ERP solutions.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding customers through their digital transformation journeys - from early-stage pre-sales conversations through to successful implementation. You will help organisations streamline operations, improve decision-making, and unlock the full value of their technology investments. This role is primarily remote, and they welcome applicants from across the UK. You'll only need to attend the office a couple of times per month.

Why This Role Matters

You will be a trusted advisor to their clients, helping them understand what's possible with Business Central and the wider Microsoft ecosystem. Your work will directly influence solution design, customer success, and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support pre-sales engagements, including demonstrations, scoping sessions, and solution discussions (or be willing to develop these skills if you're newer to pre-sales).
  • Guide customers through full-cycle Business Central implementations, from discovery to go-live.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering solutions that drive real value.
  • Configure, tailor, and optimise Business Central to align with customer processes and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations, extensions, and customisations.
  • Support data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and smooth transition from legacy systems.
  • Deliver user training, documentation, and post-go-live support to ensure long-term adoption and success.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft's roadmap, new features, and best practices across the Dynamics and Power Platform ecosystem.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
  • Pre-sales experience is highly desirable - but they are equally open to consultants who are keen to step into pre-sales and develop this capability.
  • Solid understanding of finance and core business processes.
  • Familiarity with the wider Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, Azure, Dataverse).
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, consultative approach.
  • Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies is beneficial.
  • Microsoft certifications in Business Central are advantageous.

Working Pattern

Remote-first, open to candidates across the UK. Occasional office visits (a couple of times per month). Client site visits as required.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, supportive team environment where your expertise is valued.
  • Opportunities for continuous learning, professional development, and certification.
  • The chance to work on meaningful, high-impact projects.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexibility and autonomy in how you work.

Ready to take the next step? If you're passionate about Business Central, excited by both pre-sales and delivery, and looking for a role where you can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
