We have an exciting, entry level opportunity for someone to join our team to assist and support in the provision of a high-quality cellular pathology service. Tasks will predominantly be administrative and involve tasks such as booking in samples into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), communicating with clients, either via phone or email, typing macroscopic reports and the creation of maps for our digital scanners. Strong working relationships with the medical laboratory assistants, laboratory scientists and biomedical scientist staff, taking direction from staff when necessary.

Duties:
The role will be predominantly administrative and involve working within all areas of the laboratory. As an LRA, the role will include the following tasks:
- Receipting and sorting work received within the laboratory and entering patient and clinical information for all cases received into LIMS.
- Contacting Clients, either via phone or email.
- Typing and scanning the macroscopic reports for each sample.
- Filing and retrieving blocks and slides in our archive system.
- Assisting the Digital team in loading and unloading the Digital Scanning machines and the creation of scanning maps.
- Maintenance of a clean and tidy working environment.
This is a Full-Time position, 37.5 hours per week.
