Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30, plus overtime

We are looking for a Junior Logistics Support Operative to join our Operations team and support the day-to-day despatch and logistics function. This is a hands-on role involving the preparation, packaging and dispatch of customer shipments and returns, as well as supporting deliveries, collections and courier bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package parcels and palletised shipments
- Assist with daily deliveries and collections
- Make courier bookings and liaise with courier companies
- Support route planning and driver scheduling
- Maintain accurate records on the company system
- Drive company vehicles for deliveries and collections when required
- Attend customer sites and events when logistics support is needed
- Follow health, safety and environmental procedures
About You:
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics or packing would be beneficial
- Comfortable handling parcels, pallets and heavy equipment
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- A good problem-solver with a positive, solutions-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
- Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable
