The Opportunity

Hands‑on engineer who enjoys variety, independence, and problem‑solving. Field‑based role servicing, maintaining, repairing, and supporting forklift trucks and material handling equipment across the South. Work independently with support from a knowledgeable team, deliver excellence in customer service, and be part of an organization that values engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out efficient mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimise customer downtime.
  • Complete routine inspections and thorough examinations.
  • Deliver professional and reliable customer service at all times.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a field‑service engineering role.
  • Experience with forklifts, plant equipment, HGVs, agricultural machinery, or similar.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience.
  • LOLER & PUWER Thorough Examination certification desirable.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
