Warehouse Supervisor – Freight Industry Based in Chertsey £32,000 per year Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm Weekends on a rotational basis (approx. 1 in 4, not currently required) About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced Freight Warehouse Supervisor for our client based in Chertsey. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure efficient handling of shipments, and support staff by example. Requirements: * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a freight warehouse (supervisory level) * X-Ray Licence – Level COS * Forklift Licence * Physically fit and willing to work hands-on (building AKEs daily) * PC literate – proficient in Word, Excel & Teams * Full driving licence & own transport (no nearby public transport) Benefits: * Company pension scheme * Uniform provided * Free onsite parking * Opportunities for further training Key Responsibilities: * Overseeing the daily operation of the warehouse and warehouse staff to ensure shipments are handled correctly and dispatched in a timely manner. * Unloading/loading vehicles. * Building & wrapping pallets. * X-raying of freight. * Check weighing freight and updating/notifying accordingly. * Building aircraft containers by hand (AKE’s and PMC’s) for dispatch to the airlines. * Finalising documentation such as MAWB’s and BOL’s.
