Job Title: Warehouse Operative We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for the role of Warehouse Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods. In this position, you will manage stock movements, maintain accurate records, and deliver excellent customer service at the Trade Counter. Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Salary: £26,750 per annum Key Responsibilities: Goods Handling: Check incoming goods against delivery documents. Accurately pick and prepare goods for timely dispatch. Verify outgoing goods against dispatch documents. Record goods moving in and out of the warehouse with precision. Check and report on goods returned by customers. Warehouse Operations: Load and unload goods into/from vehicles or containers. Efficiently move goods to allocated storage areas. Operate mechanical handling equipment and warehouse systems. Participate in physical stock counts to ensure accuracy. Trade Counter and Deliveries: Assist in delivering goods using company transport when required. Support the sale of goods and deliver excellent customer service at the Trade Counter. Organisation and Efficiency: Review and optimise storage space to maximise efficiency. Assemble toolkits and contribute to overall warehouse productivity. Assist in achieving overall company objectives. Person/Experience Required: Previous experience in a warehouse environment. Competency with computers and basic IT systems. Desirable: A valid counter balance forklift licence would be desirable, although it is not essential. A UK driving licence is also desirable but not a strict requirement.
