We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our client's team based in Southall. The ideal candidate will have previous transport experience and a strong understanding of transport compliance, driver management, and operational planning.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm
Salary: £33k Per Annum
Responsibilities:
- Daily transport planning to ensure efficient deliveries and collections.
- Reviewing and analyzing previous day's figures, including mileage, vehicle registrations, and fuel usage.
- Monitoring driver defects and ensuring all issues are logged and resolved.
- Conducting vehicle audits to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
- Managing Tacho Tuesday - ensuring compliance with tachograph regulations, downloading tachograph data, and monitoring driver hours.
- Identifying and addressing driver infringements to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
- Liaising with drivers, ensuring they understand their routes and schedules.
- Supporting the wider transport team with administrative tasks and reporting.
