We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our client's team based in Southall. The ideal candidate will have previous transport experience and a strong understanding of transport compliance, driver management, and operational planning.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm

Salary: £33k Per Annum

Responsibilities:

  • Daily transport planning to ensure efficient deliveries and collections.
  • Reviewing and analyzing previous day's figures, including mileage, vehicle registrations, and fuel usage.
  • Monitoring driver defects and ensuring all issues are logged and resolved.
  • Conducting vehicle audits to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Managing Tacho Tuesday - ensuring compliance with tachograph regulations, downloading tachograph data, and monitoring driver hours.
  • Identifying and addressing driver infringements to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
  • Liaising with drivers, ensuring they understand their routes and schedules.
  • Supporting the wider transport team with administrative tasks and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Previous transport planning experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of tachograph laws and driver hours regulations.
  • Good analytical skills for reviewing figures, mileage, and compliance data.
