The Role

You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning centres with Fanuc controls, producing high-precision components from billets and castings while working to tight tolerances and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC turning centres with Fanuc controls.
  • Manufacture precision-engineered components from billets and castings.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Machine a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
  • Select appropriate tooling and cutting tools.
  • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments where required.
  • Inspect finished components using micrometers, verniers, gauges and CMM equipment.
  • Work to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
