Working Hours
Monday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: Negotiable
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our clients project team, preparing accurate and competitive quotations while ensuring project profitability and meeting customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour and equipment.
- Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks.
- Liaise with project managers, clients and suppliers.
- Manage multiple quotations while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
Person / Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years' estimating experience, including site experience.
- Strong knowledge of materials, labour and industry costs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and relevant software.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
