We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our clients operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, contractors, and clients on site.
4 days on 4 days off, 7am - 7pm, £35,501 per annum.
You will be responsible for access control, site patrols, incident reporting, and ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and deliveries
- Provide a courteous and professional concierge-style service
- Adhere strictly to all site security procedures and protocols
- Conduct regular foot patrols and monitor CCTV systems
- Perform static and mobile guarding duties for extended periods, including in inclement weather
- Report suspicious behaviour or security concerns promptly to the Operations Manager
- Accurately record incidents, accidents, near misses, and daily activities in log sheets
- Handle deliveries and access control in line with established procedures
- Support wider site operations as required
- Maintain confidentiality of all company, visitor, and operational data in line with GDPR
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure site safety and compliance
- Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence
- CCTV Licence
- Fire Marshal qualification
- First Aid qualification
