Job Specification For: Estimator Ref: VR/24789 Job Overview: Estimator Location: Colnbrook, Berkshire Working Hours Monday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm Salary: Negotiable We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our clients project team, preparing accurate and competitive quotations while ensuring project profitability and meeting customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour and equipment. Review drawings, specifications and project requirements. Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations. Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks. Liaise with project managers, clients and suppliers. Manage multiple quotations while maintaining accuracy and deadlines. Person / Experience Required Minimum 10 years’ estimating experience, including site experience. Strong knowledge of materials, labour and industry costs. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and relevant software. Strong communication skills and attention to detail
