We are currently recruiting for a Home Delivery Driver & Installer for our client based in Hayes who will be responsible for delivering and assembling large household items in customers' homes, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Location & Working Hours
- Location: Hayes
- Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday‑Friday
- Schedule Start: 6:30am
- Finish: when route is completed (approx. 6‑10 hours daily)
- One night out per week required
Salary
£14.80 per hour, or £34,645 per annum once permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and install household items in customers' homes
- Ensure safe, timely, and professional deliveries
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report issues
- Keep accurate delivery and admin records
- Follow all company and health & safety procedures
- Communicate with customers and internal teams
- Adapt to route and schedule changes
- Support the Transport team and meet performance targets
- Carry out additional duties when required
Skills & Experience
- Previous delivery driving experience essential
- Home delivery experience beneficial
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to work alone and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
