We are looking for an organised and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to support the daily running of a busy distribution warehouse. This hands-on role involves overseeing warehouse operations, supervising staff, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring customer deliveries are dispatched on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations
- Oversee goods in/goods out, picking, packing, loading and unloading
- Ensure next-day delivery orders are processed accurately and on time
- Monitor stock levels, cycle counts, and warehouse scanning systems
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Support, train, and motivate warehouse staff
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
- Coordinate deliveries, transfers, and incoming stock efficiently
- Work closely with office and transport teams to ensure smooth operations
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience with stock control and warehouse systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety
- Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
