Soundsteps are an independent music school, teaching keyboard and music theory to children from beginner to grade 8 level. We teach around 800 students weekly across London and Kent, using a fun and unique group teaching method. We are looking for enthusiastic and organised piano teachers to join our team for both regular and cover work.

Who we are looking for:

  • You must play piano/keyboard to grade 8 ABRSM/Trinity or equivalent standard - you don't need to have taken the exams, but you will need to demonstrate that your playing is at the required level.
  • You can deliver fun, encouraging, child-friendly lessons to all abilities.
  • You are organised and proactive - you will mostly be teaching alone, so prompt communication of any issues is essential.
  • Previous teaching experience is ideal, but not essential - all lesson plans are provided, and you'll be given training and support to deliver our course.
