Exciting opportunity for a specialist in Telecoms! We are looking for a Coach!
Job purpose: Primarily undertaking the Principle Engineer role, the Coach will also support the Area Operations Officer (AOO) in the coaching and development of their team. The Coach will offer technical advice whilst Engineers are onsite and is responsible for ensuring organisational targets are being met.
Key responsibilities:
- Coach the team to correct any behaviours impacting on performance.
- Review any issues with the Engineer, record the actions taken and if non-compliance persists liaise with AOO/Senior Operating Officer (SOO) to instigate a PIP.
- Investigate any complaints and provide details to the AOO. Establish facts with the Engineer concerned and carry out coaching if required.
- Take ownership of Cab report, Audit report, Assurance report (service jobs) that are created by Client Manager.
- Ensure that Routing are aware which of the above are to be allocated and when.
- Be responsible for the completion of the CAB patches before the install date.
- Be the point of contact for MAP trying to expedite any Assurance jobs and complete.
- Be responsible for carrying out any Assurance jobs booked.
- Be responsible for carrying out pre-audits on Business/Residential units.
- Lead MDU Trial.
- Support AOO with line manager duties as requested, or to provide holiday/sickness cover including carrying out absence/return to work/duty of care interviews and documenting these before sending to HR and SOO.
- Assist AOO’s with audits as requested, reporting back relevant feedback.
- Ensure all communications and briefings are read and understood by Engineers.
- Pick up jobs as necessary to support the overall efficiency of the operation including Engineer absence and Ad hoc jobs.
- Work with the training department or SOO to deliver training to the team and upskill team on new products, task types and clients.
- Any other reasonable duties as required.
