Exciting opportunity in Telecoms! Exciting vacancy in Stevenage Warehouse: Good Inwards Controller with salary of £25200 per annum.

The successful candidate in this role will:

  • Oversee and control the Goods Inwards process, including receipt of deliveries, booking in of stock, creating product labels and location of products within the warehouse.
  • Receive, unload and put goods into the Goods In area.
  • Check and sign Goods dispatch note and note any discrepancies.
  • Add quantities, products and copy of the delivery note onto Goods Ins (Product request) on the system.
  • Inform the Head of the Warehouse, Logistics Manager and clients when goods are received and any discrepancies if appropriate.
  • Create Goods In product request for the goods if one does not already exist.
  • Manage and own labelling all Goods In with the correct barcode and ensuring correct photos are loaded on the system.
  • Locate goods in the correct location in the warehouse and adjust/create one on the system if one does not exist.
  • Ensure all physical goods locations match system locations and adjust if necessary.
  • Cycle counting to ensure quantities in locations match quantities on the system.
  • Check and inform if any stock is near or below minimum warehouse levels and assist with creation of purchase orders if required.
  • Monitor physical products to ensure they have correct barcodes and data on system – to include name, product code, picture and any other relevant details.
  • Assist in audits and all stock checking requirements.

All tasks shall be carried out whilst ensuring the use of safe working practices in compliance with the Health and Safety work Acts. Ability to work with others in a team and under direction. High attention to detail and a quick learner. Hardworking, flexible, and reliable. Good communication and computer skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask. Other ad hoc assignments as and when necessary.
