What will you be doing in this role?
As a Repairs Advisor, you will provide an excellent front-line service to our customers, mainly over the telephone but also via email and face-to-face. You will triage requests for repairs, book in jobs and schedule appointments for our skilled trades people β Gateway PropertyCare. This is an βin-person' role based at our offices on Preston Docks.
What We Are Looking For In You
- Significant experience of working in a customer service role, ideally over the telephone
- Fantastic IT skills, specifically around Microsoft products with the ability to quickly learn our in-house systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on empathy and understanding when interacting with customers.
- Ability to carry out basic fault finding over the phone through effective questioning and prompts
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
- Experience of working in the social housing sector
- Experience of planning and scheduling work
- Knowledge of household repairs and maintenance, e.g. how to top up boiler pressure
