Overview
Location – The Spires, Maudland Bank, Preston. This role is based at The Spires, our 26-bed scheme which provides temporary accommodation for individuals who have experienced rough sleeping or are at risk of rough sleeping. The scheme provides high-quality support services and accommodation to residents who face multiple disadvantage.
Salary and Hours
£28,593 per annum
37 hours per week
Responsibilities
As a Project Worker, you will support a small case load of tenants using a person-centred, strengths-based approach that promotes independence, responsibility and personal wellbeing. You will work with our tenants to develop personalised safety and move on plans, and you will build relationships with them by spending quality time helping them to develop community connections.

- You\\\’ll have previous experience working with people facing multiple disadvantage and/or homelessness
- You\\\’ll have previous housing or support experience

- You\\\’ll have the ability to help our tenants value themselves and realise their goals and aspirations
- You\\\’ll be able to work well under pressure and manage conflict when it arises
- You\\\’ll be motivated, confident and willing to learn new skills

- Experience of completing risk assessments and support plans

Working Arrangements
This role is based at The Spires, Maudland Bank, Preston. There may be a requirement from time to time to travel to our main office Harbour House based at the docklands, Preston, to attend meetings, training and other events. The weekly hours are 37 per week on a rota basis, with a requirement to work one Saturday in every three weeks.
