Colourscape Music Festival commission opportunity. Eye Music Trust is inviting ideas for our Rawsthorn commission fund. The successful idea will be presented at the 2026 Colourscape Music Festival on Clapham Common in September.
Colourscape is a labyrinth of about 70 interlinked chambers of intense colour and light. The public freely explore to discover music and other performances. There is a larger Silver open space where ensembles can be staged.
We prefer ideas from composers/creative musicians who have some experience of Colourscape as the unusual nature of the installation and the public reaction to it affects the kinds of performances that are possible.
The application process is simple – send your ideas by email to Projects Director, Simon Desorgher, at simon@colourscape.org.uk.
