For over 40 years, NYO has inspired young musicians across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands, helping children and young people develop musical excellence, confidence, friendships and life skills through exceptional ensemble opportunities.

NYO is seeking new Trustees to join the Board and contribute their experience, ideas and enthusiasm in supporting the continued growth and sustainability of NYO’s symphony and jazz orchestras.
Whether you are a parent, former member, arts professional, community leader or simply someone passionate about giving young people access to high-quality music opportunities, NYO would love to hear from you.
You do not need previous trustee experience to apply.
NYO welcomes first-time trustees alongside experienced board members and will provide support and induction to help you succeed.
