This year, we will select 5 Emergent artists.
- The main programme runs from
- January 202 7 to
- Ma y 202 7 , with a showcase event in
October 202 7 .
If you are selected as an Emergent you will get
- A
£1000creativebursary to supportyour future goals and creative ideas.
- A
£500development bursary , to supportyouto take part inouronlinecreative development programme.
- An opportunity to showcase your work to an audience of industry professionals at a hybrid in-person/online event in October 2027 (date to be confirmed).
- There will be twodevelopmentsessionsper month. The sessionswill be held online on a
Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm . Thesessionswill include
- 3 training sessions about topics related to the music industries.
- 3 discussion sessions to explore creative ideas.
- 3 group mentoring sessions with an experienced musician.
- 1 networking session with other musicians and Drake Music staff.

- Live in England.
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Available to attend the online development sessions on Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm.
