SAME PADEL. MORE SOUL.
We're not just teaching shots. We're helping people discover a sport, build confidence and find their place in a community.
Soul Padel is on an ambitious growth journey to become the UK's most dynamic and recognisable grassroots padel operator. As we grow across the North of England and Scotland, we're looking for brilliant padel coaches who can bring skill, energy and personality to the court.
This is not a coaching role built around feeding balls from a basket.
This is an opportunity to shape how people experience padel - from a nervous first session to competitive matchplay - inside a fast-growing, community-led sports business.
OVERVIEW
Our coaches bring the Soul Padel experience to life. They make the game easy to understand, enjoyable to learn and welcoming for everyone.
- Deliver high-quality coaching for children and adults at every stage of their padel journey.
- Turn first sessions into lasting confidence, regular play and genuine progression.
- Create an inclusive court environment where people feel comfortable, challenged and supported.
- Help grow participation through private coaching, group sessions, academies, clinics and community programmes.
- Represent Soul Padel with warmth, energy and professionalism at every player touchpoint.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves coaching, enjoys meeting people and wants to help build a coaching culture - not simply deliver a diary of lessons.
CORE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To help every player improve, whatever their starting point, while making padel enjoyable, inclusive and something they want to keep playing.
Our vision is clear
We welcome everyone to the court.
Our values guide us
Meet. Play. Connect.
Your role is to make those values real in every session - helping players feel known and supported while giving them a clear sense of progress and the confidence to keep developing.
You will work closely with Technical Director David Garrido and the Soul Padel coaching team to implement a modern coaching methodology built around player development, coach education and long-term programme quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. Coaching & Player Development
- Plan and deliver engaging private, small-group and group coaching sessions.• Coach children and adults across beginner, improver, intermediate and advanced levels.
- Deliver technical, tactical and matchplay coaching that is clear, relevant and enjoyable.
- Understand each player's goals and provide simple, motivating feedback that helps them progress.
- Give every player - from complete beginner to advanced competitor - a clear opportunity to improve.
- Adapt sessions for different ages, abilities, confidence levels and learning needs.
- Where mutually agreed, deliver Soul Padel academies, clinics, junior sessions and community programmes.
- 2. Player Experience & Community
- Create a court environment where every player feels welcome and able to belong.
- Build positive relationships that encourage repeat participation and long-term engagement.
- Support players beyond the lesson by making pathways into games, programmes and club communities easy to understand.
- Contribute positively to club events, activations and participation initiatives.
- Bring personality and energy while recognising that different players need different coaching styles.
- 3. Coaching Standards & Collaboration
- Work closely with Technical Director David Garrido and the Soul Padel coaching team to implement our modern coaching methodology.
- Support a consistent player-development approach and high-quality programme delivery across Soul Padel clubs.
- Use independent professional judgement while respecting Soul Padel's safeguarding, welfare, health and safety, venue and brand standards.
- Respond openly and constructively to player feedback and reasonable quality guidance.
- Represent Soul Padel professionally in the club, online and through approved player communications.
- Help strengthen the coaching culture as Soul Padel grows across multiple locations.
- 4. Continuous Coach Development
- Engage in ongoing mentoring and technical support from David Garrido and the wider coaching team.
- Learn and apply Soul Padel's coaching methodology, session frameworks and player-development principles.
- Take part in coach education, observation, feedback and shared-learning opportunities.

- Commit to continuous professional development and maintaining high technical standards.
- 5. Organisation, Safety & Professional Practice
- Manage availability, client communications, cancellations and coaching administration professionally.
- Arrange court time in line with club booking procedures and use facilities respectfully.
- Provide and maintain suitable coaching equipment unless otherwise agreed.
- Maintain all required qualifications, accreditation, checks and insurance.
- Report accidents, injuries, safeguarding concerns, serious complaints and data incidents immediately.
- Protect confidential information and use player data only for its authorised purpose.
- PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITY
You will be judged on
- The quality, safety and inclusivity of your coaching.
- Player feedback, repeat participation and demonstrable player progression at every level.
- Your reliability, organisation and communication with players and club teams.
- Your contribution to Soul Padel programmes, participation and community life.
