With a growing team of innovators, we are accelerating into the future of Mixed Reality, the metaverse, and beyond.

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Artist to collaborate on a groundbreaking Mixed Reality reimagining of a world-class sports franchise, where your visual flair will breathe life into intuitive interfaces that elevate simulation gameplay. If you are a curious problem-solver with a knack for turning wireframes into visually stunning, cohesive experiences, join us to shape the interfaces of tomorrow.

The Role

Partnering closely with UX Designers, the Lead UX Designer, Tech UI Design, and Engineering teams, you will craft high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, design systems, and style guides that deliver exceptional UI experiences. From rapid prototypes to shippable player-facing UI, you will transform concepts into polished realities, enhancing UX through cohesive visuals and innovative motion.

In this dynamic role, you will tackle complex systems with a focus on clarity and elegance, thriving in a fast-paced, initiative-driven environment. We are looking for someone proactive, player-empathetic, and adaptable—passionate about games and eager to contribute to a culture where your high-impact work drives studio success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UX Design, Tech UI Design, and Engineering to deliver high-quality UI experiences that resonate with players.
  • Contribute to design systems, game menus, HUD elements, iconography, UI materials and shaders, animation, and motion design.
  • Develop new material effects, implement basic blueprint/script logic, and create 2D effects to enhance visual fidelity.
  • Help ship high-quality features on schedule, maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence.
  • Work autonomously on complex features and systems, executing at the highest standards.
  • Utilise Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or equivalents to concept and refine UI art from ideation to implementation.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal artist blends technical artistry with a collaborative spirit and game-making passion. Essential experience includes:

  • 2+ years collaborating on UI from concept to completion, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing visual design prowess and process.
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Suite, or comparable tools.
  • Hands-on UI art implementation in Unity or equivalent game engines.
  • Experience building UI materials, shaders, motion design, and UI animation—ideally for games or interactive projects; familiarity with 3D packages and FX tools.
  • Exposure to XR as a player or developer, understanding its UI/UX nuances, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Proven ability to shepherd features to completion, iterating swiftly amid evolving briefs.
  • Deep passion for creating and playing games, with strong player empathy.
  • Proactive mindset for owning outcomes, embracing ambiguity, and adapting to rapid changes.

Desirable skills to shine:

  • Experience in simulation or sports games.
