What We’re Looking For: As Law Clerk – Contracts Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a dynamic, global operation. You will be a trusted partner to various business units, notably SOTI’s sales and client facing teams, ensuring that legal risks are identified and managed effectively while enabling business agility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial review, draft, and amend contracts and legal documentation in support of SOTI’s sales and procurement processes.
- Manage a steady volume of service requests through contract management systems.
- Oversee and improve contract management systems.
- Work with cross-functional team and legal on contract template creation and update.
- Assist in developing educational workshops on effective contracting and negotiation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Law degree or law clerk diploma.
- Relevant Expertise: 2-4 years’ experience supporting commercial contracting matters, gained either in-house or through a law firm. Experience drafting and negotiating commercial and/or software agreements is particularly valuable.
- Legal Software: Proficient with document management systems, preferably Salesforce, and DocuSign.
- Problem-Solver: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide pragmatic, actionable advice that considers both legal risks and business objectives.
- Collaborative Communicator: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to distil complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
