THE ROLE

Sotheby’s is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape a range of digital experiences across both customer-facing applications and sophisticated operational tools.

You’ll work across discovery, UX, IA, and UI to design for diverse user groups across the global art and luxury ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead design for features spanning client experiences and staff workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct user interviews, map workflows, and define IA for complex systems.
  • Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI.
  • Support design QA and ensure high-quality execution.
  • Use and contribute to the design system.
  • Provide feedback to peers and help elevate UX practices across the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7–10+ years of product/UX/UI design experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both consumer-facing and operational/enterprise experiences.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar modern design tools.
  • Systems thinking and the ability to simplify complex workflows.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with responsive design; mobile experience a plus.
  • Background in e-commerce, logistics, or service workflows is advantageous.
