Overview

Soteria Planning is growing and we’re looking for a people-first, consultative Estate Planner to serve clients across Bracknell, the surrounding areas, and beyond while working hybrid from our Binfield (Bracknell) HQ. We’re a values-led team that believes in clarity, empathy and doing right by our clients – every time.

We’re a friendly, family-focused group who help people protect their families and assets. Clients come to us for practical, plain-English advice on Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate, and we use modern tools to make working together simple (think Zoom consultations and online booking).

The role (what you’ll do)

  • Meet clients 1:1 (in-person and via Zoom), building trust and explaining options in clear, human terms.
  • Conduct fact-finds, scope client objectives and recommend appropriate estate planning solutions (e.g., Wills, LPAs, Trusts), collaborating with our drafting/admin team to deliver accurate documents.
  • Manage your diary and pipeline, follow up with leads and introducers, and keep immaculate notes and records.
  • Champion our “client-first” ethos at community events and partner meetings.
  • Keep learning – you’ll have internal and external training and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.

About you (what you’ll bring)

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; you listen first and explain clearly.
  • Driven, hungry to learn and comfortable owning your schedule in a hybrid set-up.
  • Confident face-to-face: you’re at your best in 1:1 client meetings (living rooms, cafĂ©s, Zoom – wherever clients feel at ease).
  • Organised and detail-oriented, able to juggle appointments and follow-ups without dropping the ball.
  • Team player who works independently and contributes positively to the wider group.
  • Estate planning experience is welcome, not essential – the right mindset matters most. Training provided.

What’s in it for you

  • ÂŁ25,000 – ÂŁ35,000 base salary (DOE), with clear progression as we grow.
  • Hybrid working: split your time between the Binfield (Bracknell) head office and field/client work. You’ll regularly travel locally for client meetings.
  • Structured development with internal and external training plus mentoring from experienced advisers.
  • Modern tools to make meetings smooth and accessible for clients (video consults and online booking).
  • A supportive, values-led culture where your voice is heard and your impact is visible.
