The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.
You will lead a reward benchmarking and pay framework review from methodology to boardâready options. You will lock the comparator logic and ageing rules, oversee job matching, build external market tables and internal diagnostics, and shape two or three costed options with clear risks and mitigations. You will write the narrative leaders use to decide and will run review workshops with the sponsor and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Comparator set and ageing rules approved in writing
- Job matching workbook with a clear audit trail
- Salary and pay mix tables by family and level, plus benefits and pensions summary
- Diagnostics including compa ratios, range health, progression and equity screens
- Two or three costed options with risks, mitigations and implementation notes
- Executive pack and final report that enable a board decision
Responsibilities:
- Define and document the benchmarking methodology, markets and ageing approach
- Lead job matching, resolve borderline roles and record decisions
- Build and quality assure market tables and internal diagnostics
- Synthesize findings into decisionâready options linked to affordability and policy
- Present to the sponsor, lead challenge sessions and secure signâoff checkpoints
- Ensure clean data handling aligned to GDPR and the agreed Annex A controls
- Partner with the PM on reporting cadence, governance and acceptance criteria
Requirements:
- Proven delivery of reward benchmarking and pay framework reviews
- Strong Excel including modelling, ageing and audit checks
- HR data handling, data quality validation and clear documentation
- Confident engagement with senior stakeholders and, where relevant, trade unions
- Clear written narrative and concise slides for executive audiences
