Our client designs, develops, and delivers accredited online vocational training courses for individuals and businesses. They are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Course Content Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Course Content Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and creating courses.
Responsibilities:
- Write scripts for new courses based on specifications that are consistent with our in-house style and structure, and ensure that syllabuses are adequately covered.
- Design new courses based on written scripts and according to in-house style guidelines, with a strong focus on the quality of user experience.
- Collaborate with team members on the design and development of courses.
- Work with the Customer Service team to provide educational support for learners regarding courses.
- Edit and revamp existing courses based on customer feedback to improve their quality.
- Complete reviews of existing courses to ensure information is accurate and up to date, and overall quality is maintained.
- Manage production of new courses, editing of existing courses, and completing course reviews simultaneously.
- Liaise with suppliers and subject matter experts (SMEs) for course materials, such as scripts, voiceovers, and translations/subtitles.
- Coordinate with awarding organizations to facilitate official recognition of our courses (both new and existing).
Requirements:
- Excellent written skills, with a strong focus on accurate English grammar.
- Ability to conduct research for courses, ensuring information retrieved is accurate and reliable.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office software (especially Word and PowerPoint).
