Overview:

Our client is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Group Head of People Systems & Data to lead and evolve its HR technology and workforce data function across the organisation. This role will drive HR systems strategy, workforce analytics, automation, and data governance to enhance employee experience and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the Group People Systems strategy and technology roadmap
  • Lead implementation, optimisation, and transformation of HR technology platforms
  • Own HR data governance, integrity, security, and compliance across systems
  • Develop workforce analytics, dashboards, and people insights for leadership teams
  • Drive automation and process improvement across the employee lifecycle
  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and senior stakeholders on scalable technology solutions
  • Manage HR technology vendors, system upgrades, and strategic partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and multi-country employment regulations
  • Build and lead a high-performing People Systems and Data team

Requirements:

  • Significant experience leading HR Systems / HR Technology functions in complex or global organisations
  • Strong HRIS expertise (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms)
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise HRIS systems
  • Background in systems transformation, process improvement, and data governance
  • Strong analytical and workforce reporting capabilities
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across HR, IT, and Finance
  • Understanding of systems architecture, governance, and operational best practices
  • Degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred:

  • HR technology certifications
  • Experience in multi-site or international environments
