A leading organisation is seeking a Data & Information Management Senior Analyst to play a key role in strengthening enterprise data governance and management practices. This position sits at the core of the data function, driving the implementation of data standards, controls, and frameworks to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and AI-ready across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models
- Develop and embed data management controls, including data quality, cataloguing, and metadata management
- Define and implement data ownership structures and governance models across data domains
- Partner with business and technical teams to implement end-to-end data controls across the data lifecycle
- Drive adoption of best practices in data governance and information management
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data controls and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams to align data initiatives with strategic goals
- Contribute to innovation by leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-driven data management tools
- Support training and enablement to improve data literacy and adoption across teams
Requirements
- Strong experience in data governance and data management (data quality, lineage, cataloguing, metadata)
- Proven track record delivering data initiatives and frameworks in complex environments
- Hands-on experience with data governance and management tools (e.g., Atlan, Anomalo or similar)
- Ability to translate technical data concepts into business-friendly insights
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Continuous learning mindset with interest in AI and emerging data technologies
