The Company

Our client designs, develops, and delivers accredited online vocational training courses for individuals and businesses.

Are you a creative and organized individual looking to launch your career in content development? They are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Course Content Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Course Content Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and creating courses.

Responsibilities:

  1. Write scripts for new courses based on specifications that are consistent with our in-house style and structure, and ensure that syllabuses are adequately covered.
  2. Design new courses based on written scripts and according to in-house style guidelines, with a strong focus on the quality of user experience.
  3. Collaborate with team members on the design and development of courses.
  4. Work with the Customer Service team to provide educational support for learners regarding courses.
  5. Edit and revamp existing courses based on customer feedback to improve their quality.
  6. Complete reviews of existing courses to ensure information is accurate and up to date, and overall quality is maintained.
  7. Manage production of new courses, editing of existing courses, and completing course reviews simultaneously.
  8. Liaise with suppliers and subject matter experts (SMEs) for course materials, such as scripts, voiceovers, and translations/subtitles.
  9. Coordinate with awarding organizations to facilitate official recognition of our courses (both new and existing).

Requirements:

  1. Excellent written skills, with a strong focus on accurate English grammar.
  2. Ability to conduct research for courses, ensuring information retrieved is accurate and reliable.
  3. Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation.
  4. Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office software (especially Word and PowerPoint).
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  7. Engaging and enthusiastic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  8. Strong competence in written English.
  9. Creative flair for transforming key information in a document into an engaging format.
