A leading global online delivery platform is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst to support its UK & Ireland Delivery Operations and Product teams. The role focuses on using data and analytical insights to improve delivery operations, identify performance issues and enhance the overall customer experience. You will work across operational, product and commercial teams to uncover trends, investigate root causes and support data-driven improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical initiatives and projects focused on improving delivery operations and customer experience.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify operational trends, performance issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Combine internal and external data sources to develop meaningful business insights.
  • Support the optimisation of business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Customer Care, Business Intelligence, Account Management and delivery partners.
  • Analyse delivery performance metrics and promote consistent measurement and reporting across the organisation.
  • Investigate problematic orders, identify root causes and develop recommendations to reduce recurring issues.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an analytical or data-focused role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and present large volumes of information accurately.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data querying.
  • Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous business problems.
  • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google BigQuery and Google Sheets is advantageous.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualisation tools is advantageous.
