About the Role

The Presales Solution Architect is responsible for understanding our customers' business and technical needs, designing tailored IT solutions, and supporting the sales team throughout the Presales phase.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the customer requirements are met with Sota's offerings.
  • Provide technical expertise, deliver presentations, and respond to RFPs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure the solution is viable, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships, mitigate risks, and stay informed on emerging technologies.
  • Help customers adopt relevant solutions that help their business succeed.
  • Design and propose technically sound, cost-effective solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Support the sales process and help close deals.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with customer’s strategic objectives.
  • Position Sota as a trusted advisor and partner, driving growth by securing new contracts and nurturing long-term relationships.

Experience

  • Strong track record in designing and delivering tailored IT solutions.
  • Experience in understanding customer requirements and creating data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical goals.
  • Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Experience designing IT solutions that deliver tangible benefits for customers or internal users.
  • Familiar with managing architectural risk while working at pace.
  • Strong industry knowledge in an IT MSP, including M365, Cloud, Backup, Security, Connectivity and VoIP solutions.

Required Skills

  • Commercially and technically savvy.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for the sales team.
  • Convey customer needs and expectations to the technical team.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT solutions, technologies, and industry best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in enhancing solution proposals.
  • Strong communication and alignment skills between technical and sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals - Certified
  • Azure 365 Fundamentals - Certified
  • WatchGuard Security Sales Specialist - Certified

Compensation package

  • Competitive salary
  • 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus one day awarded every January to a maximum of 34 days
