This is a part-time studio based role for a CIAT Architectural Technician, located near Burford. The role involves the preparation of technical drawings and construction documentation using VectorWorks. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with the design Director and construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
Core responsibilities include:
- Adhering to building regulations as a baseline standard.
- Ensuring technical precision in all deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Architectural Technology, including a strong understanding of building systems and construction methods.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Construction Drawings.
- Proficiency in the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to produce detailed designs and plans. We run VectorWorks so proficiency in this would be preferable.
- Strong familiarity with Architecture principles for high-end bespoke projects, ranging from £200k - >£20m.
- Excellent organisational, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards.
- CIAT membership or equivalent is preferred.
