Based at our head office in Manchester, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support requests, from password resets and user account setups to installing IT suites in both new and existing stores. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our retail operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and upgrade hardware/software for new and existing stores across the UK & Ireland
- Provide user training and ongoing IT support to store teams
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
- Deliver technical support in person, by phone, and remotely
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Support the rollout of new applications and system updates
- Prioritise and resolve IT support requests within agreed timeframes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers
- Test and provide feedback on new technologies
- Conduct safety checks on IT equipment
- Ensure a seamless and outstanding user experience for our Sisters across the UK & Ireland
About You
- A few years of experience as an IT support engineer, ideally within retail
- Background as an IT technician or electrician
- Knowledge of installing, connecting and testing hardware in stores
- Familiarity with POS systems, networks, and preferably Dynamics NAV and LS Retail
- Strong knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and software
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively with others and under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and other common software packages
- Solution‑oriented, with a proactive approach to improvement
- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
- Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical users
- A team player who values collaboration and builds strong relationships
- Thrives in a busy, ever‑changing environment

Practical Information
- Working hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary: DOE
- Workplace: Manchester Office with travel as and when required (approx. 40–60 days per year)
