Overview
Sstrene Grene is seeking an exceptional Supervisor with a proven track record in fast-paced retail environments. A Supervisor has a busy and diverse role, including managing the workflow on the shop floor, delegating tasks, supervising staff, training new starters, setting a high example, and creating a positive Team spirit.
Responsibilities
- Manage the effective workflow of the shop floor
- Identify tasks that need to be completed and delegate jobs to the right people
- Ensure the shop floor is well stocked and communicate to staff what areas need refilling
- Supervise work, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to colleagues and/or management as required
- Create a positive and proactive work environment by leading with a can-do attitude
- Manage conflict
- Train new hires
- Keyholder duties, including opening and closing the store
- Assume additional management responsibilities as required in the absence of the Management team
- Assist with staff scheduling as required
- Receive, process, and organise store deliveries
- Sign writing in line with established guidelines
- Process customer payments using the shop\”s Point of Sale (POS) system
- End of day cashing up and float management
- Cash Safe management and G4S lodgements
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
