Job Summary
As Store Manager you will be responsible for the overall management and commercial success of the store, ensuring exceptional operational, customer service and store presentation standards are continually being met.
Your responsibilities will include planning and directing day‑to‑day operations, developing strategies, creating store policies to improve customer service, driving footfall and increasing sales and profitability, maintaining exceptional store standards and fostering a positive working environment for your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets while minimizing costs and managing staff budgets.
- Lead and motivate your team, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, setting performance expectations.
- Handle scheduling, forecasting staffing needs, and managing store operations.
- Preparing and reviewing management reports to plan tasks, review performance and drive sales.
- Ensure high standards in visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Maintain a safe working environment and uphold security procedures.
- Support business efficiency initiatives and assist other stores as needed.
- Manage cash handling, POS operations, and end‑of‑day processes.
- Responsible for cash safe management and G4S lodgements.
- Serve as a keyholder with responsibility for store security and opening/closing duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of store management experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage budgets.
