søster, sister to luxury travel company Black Tomato, is an events and experience agency headquartered in London (with a remote-first way of working). Delivering cutting-edge events and experiences around the globe, we enable global companies and brands to bring their values to life through authentic experiential storytelling. With industry-leading event creativity, and the operational prowess to execute them with excellence, we are known for developing experiential activations that bring our clients’ brand values to life in uniquely authentic ways. Quite simply, we create remarkable experiences that inspire.
Role Overview:
Are you immersed in the world of influencers, creators, and brand storytelling, and curious to move into the business side of the action? We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Client Outreach Executive, specialising in influencer and brand events, to join our growing team and help power our growth in the influencer events space. While this is a commercially focused role, it’s perfect for someone who has a strong hold and understanding of trends in influencer marketing. We’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity of seeking out global brands who are booking top-tier events and luxury travel. There’s an opportunity to be creative too. Think once-in-a-lifetime trip curation, selling boundary-pushing brand experiences, and working on client campaigns that make headlines.
You’ll support the Global Client Director in driving new opportunities for the agency: identifying leads, helping craft compelling proposals, and playing an active part in how we present ourselves to the world. You'll also keep us sharp and ahead of the curve, bringing fresh energy, smart thinking, and a finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across brand experiences and influencer marketing event campaigns.
- Research and reach out to prospective clients and leads to introduce our agency capabilities and services.
- Stay informed on current and emerging trends across TikTok, Instagram, and other relevant platforms, with a particular focus on brand and influencer event trends.
- Support the growth of søster’s LinkedIn presence, developing and publishing two pieces of engaging content per week, with the collaboration of the wider team.
- Support on extended marketing efforts, including building case studies, online content and attending industry events.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions as part of the pitch process, contributing fresh and relevant ideas.
- Support the creation of client proposals, working alongside the sales and product team to ensure impactful, creative and bespoke responses to new event briefs.
- Support on client calls, representing the sales team with a personable, friendly, and confident manner.
- Travel occasionally both within the UK and globally, with the Global Client Director to represent the sales team in fostering client relationships, or on occasion to support the operational team in delivering projects.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and leads, tracking progress and reporting regularly to the Global Client Director.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in business development, marketing or account management, at an agency or brand. Experience in the influencer/creator space and/or events industry is preferable.
- A strong understanding of the influencer marketing space either socially or professionally.
- Confident and enthusiastic with outstanding interpersonal skills. Confidence speaking with clients.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
- Creative thinker with an eye for spotting opportunities and emerging trends.
- Comfortable in client-facing environments, with a natural ability to build relationships and represent the agency.
- Proficient in (or able to swiftly onboard with) various CRM tools.
- Experience using Adobe InDesign is favourable, but not a requirement.
- A passion for travel, ideally with a good idea of world travel trends.
- Proficient in writing copy and tailoring content for LinkedIn posts.
- A self-starter who is motivated when working remotely.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, or project support, both in the UK and internationally as required – please note this will not be a core requirement but may be required occasionally.
What We Offer:
- An opportunity to work on high profile, innovative and exciting campaigns with top tier brands.
- A supportive and collaborative remote team environment.
- The opportunity to travel on FAM trips, to experience new and relevant global destinations.
- 4pm finishes on Fridays.
