We are Sosandar, based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, one of the UK’s fastest-growing online fashion brands, known for creating chic, stylish pieces loved by celebrities and influencers alike. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and detail-oriented Design Assistant to join our growing team.
As a Design Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting your Designer and the wider buying team across your product area. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where strong organisation, creativity, and communication skills are essential. It is a multi-product role working across leather and PU, denim and outerwear.
Key Responsibilities:- Support your Designer in the development of product within your category.
- Work proficiently across Adobe packages, particularly Illustrator, to create high-quality CADS and design packs to company standards.
- Lead on research for newness across departments.
- Build and maintain accurate trend packs and overviews ahead of planning meetings.
- Communicate confidently with suppliers via email regarding design development.
- Action feedback with suppliers following buy, fit, range build, and planning meetings.
- Provide general administrative support across your product area and the buying team.
- Contribute to ongoing design research across all product areas.
- Assist in compiling and confidently presenting research in design and buying meetings.
- Share fabric and trim references with suppliers to support sourcing of newness.
- Understanding of product performance, trends, and customer preferences.
- Experience assisting with range planning or design research.
- Confidence contributing ideas in team meetings.
