Assistant Merchandiser (retail/online)

We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Branch Merchandiser to join our dynamic team at Sosandar. The Junior Branch Merchandiser will oversee the management of inventory in our stores and ensure we have the right range in place to maximise sales and drive profitability. Ensure optimum levels of stock in store, with replenishment levels protected through regular sales and intake analysis. Identify sellouts and excess stock in store, proposing relevant actions to aid sell through and minimise markdown risks. Track performance on best-selling and worst-selling lines to ensure opportunities are maximised and sell through managed. Track option fulfilment and highlight any risks to management, proposing solutions to any issues. Oversee all stock movements in and out of stores including new season launches, replenishment of best sellers, returns to the warehouse and stock movements between branches. Work closely with retail leadership and operational teams to deliver the strategy across all branches. Regular store visits to assess merchandising standards and better understand areas of success or areas where improvements are needed. Manage all store’s promotional and markdown activity through our POS system, in line with our trading calendar. Conduct weekly trade performance meetings with management, stating key messages and proposing relevant actions and changes.
